Installing the app
See below for complete instructions on downloading, installing and setting up the Eduspot app.
Step 1
Check which app you need to install
Firstly, please make sure you’re searching for the correct app. The Eduspot app (formerly known as Groupcall Xpressions) works with several communications platforms, but you can only use the Eduspot app if that’s what your school has chosen to use.
If you have been instructed by your school to install the Eduspot app or the Xpressions app, then Eduspot is the correct one. If you have been instructed to get the Teachers2Parents app, this is a different app which only works with Teachers2Parents. Again, your school determines which app they use.
Step 3
Enter your contact details
When you first open the app, you will be asked to enter your email address and phone number. All personal details will be taken from your school’s records, so the information you provide needs to match what they have on file.
If you are unable to enter details successfully, you will need to speak to your school office. If you are sure you have entered information correctly but you still see an error message, it is likely that the school records are incorrect, so please contact your school.
Step 4
Enter the confirmation code
Next, you will receive a confirmation code via text message to confirm your identity for security reasons. There may be a short delay recieving your code. If you haven’t received it after waiting at least 5 minutes, there will be an option to resend a code.
Step 5
Create a password (recommended)
It is recommended that you create a password for your account at this stage. If you need to login again, or on another device, having a password will make the process easier. Please see our recommendations for Setting a strong password.
